Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice, providing exceptional support to both patients and dental professionals. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as excellent organizational skills.
Duties
Assist dentists during various procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area by ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Perform X-ray imaging as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain aseptic technique to ensure a sterile environment during procedures.
Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records using dental software systems such as Dental Curve Hero.
Stay updated on dental terminology and industry best practices to provide accurate information to patients and staff.
Cheerful and friendly personality who can greet the patients as they come in and help with the intake.
Skills
Need actual DA experience of at-least 1 year (outside of school).Pay is based on experience - Stronger candidates are preferred and get paid in the higher bracket.
Proficiency in dental assisting with hands-on experience in various dental procedures.
Knowledge of general dentistry principles and practices.
Familiarity with Dental Curve or similar dental practice management systems.
Ability to perform X-ray imaging safely and effectively.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile working environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Some practice management software skills preferred, but not required. Onsite training will be provided otherwise.
