Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HARP Certified Dental Assistant to join our busy Endodontic specialty clinic in Brampton on a part-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a specialized dental environment, supporting endodontic procedures and providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be a team player who possesses strong clinical skills, familiarity with dental software, and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health. Prior experience in dental assisting specifically with endodontic procedures will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Assist the endodontist during procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a clear operative field
Manage patient records using our practice management dental software
Take and develop dental radiographs using digital technology when necessary
Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral health maintenance
Support front desk by ensuring that accurate treatment planning is communicated
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Experience
Previous experience in dental assisting, preferably within endodontics, is highly desirable
Proficiency with dental software is preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and endodontic procedures
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail
Certification or training in dental assisting is required (Level II preferred)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
This position is part-time three days per week. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30am to 4:00pm. These dates and times are subject to change based on the doctor schedule.
