Job Description
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant
Duties
Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
Take dental X-rays using digital imaging systems such as 3D scanners and medical imaging tools while adhering to strict HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy.
Manage patient records within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system Open Dental
Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures, applying aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently.
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones as a dental receptionist, and managing medical records with precision.
Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment following infection control standards and OSHA regulations to ensure safety for staff and patients alike.
Qualifications
Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures.
Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging devices safely and effectively.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with dental teams and provide compassionate care to pediatric patients when needed.
