Growing dental office in Fort Mill is seeking a confident Dental Assistant!

Orchard Grove Family Dentistry is a privately owned and operated dental office that opened in March of 2022 in the growing town of Fort Mill, SC. The owner has a vision to keep private practice dentistry alive and thriving through connecting with patients in a practice designed to be relaxing and judgment free. Patients will be educated and involved with treatment decisions, and financial arrangements will be presented with full transparency.

The ideal candidate will hold the required dental assisting certifications and have a minimum of two years of experience assisting chairside. They must possess confidence, grit, emotional intelligence, and a passion for learning all aspects of the practice. With warmth and 5-star customer service they will also answer phone calls, schedule appointments, greet patients, and discuss treatment plans. The ideal candidate will also enthusiastically participate in community marketing activities.

This position will be 28-35 hours per week. Hourly compensation based on experience, competitive in the area. Stipend toward medical insurance and continuing education. Onsite laundry facilities, well designed office with all new equipment!

Qualifications:
Must be a current DA 2
Must hold South Carolina radiation safety certificate
DANB or CODA- accredited program OR minimum of 2 years chairside experience
Current CPR/BLS certification
Proficiency polishing, taking digital x-rays, using intra oral cameras, digital scanner, making impressions and temporaries
Confidence in discussing treatment plans, costs and dental insurance.

Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment with energy and confidence
High level of emotional intelligence, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment
Must be comfortable being the first impression of the practice and ready to participate in community marketing activities
Experience with administrative/customer service/reception roles are a plus
Prior experience with Open Dental is a plus

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28.0 – 35.0 per week
