Dental Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist

BioDentistry MI is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist to join our holistic dental office specializing in biologic dentistry, airway dentistry, sleep apnea treatment, and TMJ therapy. Our patient-centered practice focuses on whole-body wellness, advanced dental technology, and education-driven care.

This role is ideal for a Dental Assistant interested in airway-focused dentistry, sleep dentistry, integrative healthcare, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities
Chairside assisting during general, restorative, holistic, and airway-focused dental procedures
Prepare and break down treatment rooms following OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols
Take digital dental X-rays, CBCT scans, and intraoral photographs
Assist with impressions, digital scans, and fabrication of oral appliances for sleep apnea and TMJ
Support airway evaluations, sleep screenings, and patient consultations
Educate patients on dental procedures, post-operative care, and holistic oral health
Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized dental operatory
Monitor and restock dental supplies and clinical inventory
Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and front office staff to deliver exceptional patient care
Qualifications
Required:
Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience
Experience with chair side assisting and dental instruments
Knowledge of dental infection control and sterilization procedures
Strong communication and patient care skills
Preferred (Not Required):
Experience in holistic dentistry, biologic dentistry, or integrative dental care
Familiarity with airway dentistry, sleep apnea appliances, oral appliance therapy, or TMJ treatment
Experience with digital dentistry, CBCT imaging, and intraoral scanners
CPR/BLS certification
