Job Description
Busy dental office is seeking a reliable, professional, and experienced bilingual Dental Assistant (English/Spanish) to join our team.
The ideal candidate must be well-organized, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be comfortable following instructions, working as part of a team, and maintaining all dental office, infection-control, and safety standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms before and after each patient
Take dental X-rays as required
Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize dental instruments
Maintain proper infection-control procedures
Follow all OSHA and office safety policies
Restock treatment rooms and maintain supplies
Provide patients with post-treatment instructions as directed by the dentist
Educate patients regarding proper oral hygiene
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Assist other team members when needed
Perform additional dental office duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual English/Spanish required
Previous dental assisting experience preferred
Reliable and punctual
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a busy dental office
Excellent attention to detail
Professional attitude and appearance
Strong team player
Stable employment history preferred
