Dental Assistant (Full-Time)

We're a fee-for-service general, family and cosmetic practice in Hollywood, FL. Because we aren't tied to insurance networks, we schedule longer appointments and spend real time with every patient. We have a friendly, team-oriented office where people genuinely help each other out, and several of our team members have been with us for over 20 years, which tells you most of what you need to know about working here. We're hiring an experienced full-time Dental Assistant to be the doctor's primary chairside assistant. This is the kind of role where you learn the doctor's rhythm and run the day together. This position is open because our current assistant is relocating out of state.

What You'll Do
Assist chairside with general, restorative and cosmetic procedures, including crowns, fillings and crown inserts
Take digital X-rays and intraoral scans with our 3Shape TRIOS 5 scanner
Set up and break down operatories, and handle sterilization and infection control
Check lab cases in and track them through to delivery
Seat patients, review medical histories, and walk them through what to expect
Keep supplies stocked and equipment in good working order
Help the front desk with scheduling and charting in Oryx when the schedule is light
What We're Looking For
At least 3 years of chairside dental assisting experience (required). This role is not a training position
Florida dental radiography certification (required)
Comfortable and efficient with crown and filling procedures from setup through delivery
Oryx or TRIOS experience is a plus
Someone who wants to be the doctor's right hand: anticipates the next step, keeps the day moving, and takes ownership of the back office
Warm with patients, organized, and a team player who pitches in where needed
Schedule and Start Date
Monday through Thursday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, and Friday 7:30am to 1:00pm. About 40 hours per week. The earliest start date is October 27, 2026, and we are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
