Summary:
Performs general office, sterilization and chairside duties in support of dental clinic and operatory functions.
Minimum Education:
a. Currently enrolled in dental assisting program or has successfully completed a dental assisting program
b. CDA certification preferred
c. Current radiology certificate with Ohio Dental Board
Minimum Work Experience:
a. Chairside experience
b. Experience scheduling appointments and collecting patient data
c. Experience with equipment maintenance and inventory and ordering of supplies
d. Experience developing digital x-rays and inputting them into computer
e. Experience with dental software, Dentrix preferred.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
a. Excellent oral communication skills with ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients and co-workers.
b. Knowledge of dental terminology and office practice and procedures.
c. Basic computer skills
d. Experience entering patient data, appointments and treatment plans in computer
e. Population Specific Competency: ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
