Job Description
Come join our friendly team of talented dental assistants at Kennewick Dental! We are looking for a hardworking, dependable, and patient-oriented dental assistant to become part of our team.
Our assistants work together as a team, look out for one another, and take pride in providing excellent care and a positive experience for our patients. Our doctors recognize and appreciate the important role dental assistants play in our practice and make it a priority to treat our team with respect and appreciation.
Position Details:
Full-time position
Approximately 30–40 hours per week
Pay based on experience
Benefits include medical insurance, retirement matching, paid time off, paid holidays, free dental work on staff and their immediate family
Preference given to applicants with at least 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience
Responsibilities:
Assist doctors with exams, restorative procedures, and other dental treatments
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures
Take dental X-rays as permitted by Washington State requirements
Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control procedures
Maintain accurate patient records
Provide patients with compassionate pre- and post-treatment instructions
Help maintain an efficient patient flow and schedule
Keep treatment rooms and the clinical area clean, organized, and well stocked
Communicate professionally and positively with patients and team members
Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and office policies and procedures
