Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following aseptic technique and infection control protocols.

Assist dentists chairside during procedures such as restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and implant dentistry treatments.

Take dental X-rays, including 3D scans when necessary, ensuring proper positioning and safety measures are followed.

Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments.

Provide excellent dental receptionist support by scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and managing patient flow efficiently.

Support general dentistry operations by maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly for four-handed dentistry practices.

Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dental procedures.

Proficiency in EMR systems such Dentrix; familiarity with itero and invisalign is a plus.

Strong understanding of infection control standards, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures.

Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while adhering to radiation safety guidelines.

Must be responsible , have good communication skills and enjoy working in cosmatic dental practice.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and external healthcare providers.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
