Position Summary:
The Dental Assistant at Affinity Dental plays a key role in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting clinical efficiency and maintaining a high standard of professionalism
This role requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to infection control standards at all times
Assist the dentist during procedures and perform duties within the legal scope
Accurately take radiographs, impressions, and intra-oral scans; document all clinical procedures thoroughly
Ensure complete and detailed patient records, including medical history, charting, treatment plans, and clinical notes
Deliver an exceptional patient experience, including use of comfort menu, clear communication, and proper patient handoff
Support efficient patient flow by maintaining strong time management and minimizing delays
Complete opening and closing duties and maintain a consistently clean and organized workspace
Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless scheduling, proper case handoff, and achievement of daily goals
Maintain knowledge of dental supplies, inventory, and track in-office materials used
Assist with administrative and clinical systems as needed (scheduling, treatment coordination, referrals, pre-determinations)
Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and systems (e.g., digital scanners, CAD/CAM equipment)
