Are you a skilled and compassionate dental assistant looking for a supportive and positive work environment? We're an established dental practice in Pataskala, OH, dedicated to providing top-notch care to our wonderful patients. About the Role
As our Dental Assistant, you'll be an essential part of our clinical team, working closely with our dentist to ensure smooth and efficient patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting during dental procedures: Preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments and materials to the dentist during various procedures (fillings, crowns, extractions, etc.).

Patient care and comfort: Greeting patients, taking and updating medical histories, explaining procedures, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit.

Radiography: Taking and developing dental X-rays (digital preferred).

Infection control: Adhering strictly to sterilization and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.

Maintaining accurate records: Charting patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Inventory and stocking: Assisting with managing dental supplies and ensuring treatment rooms are well-stocked.

Educating patients: Providing post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a dedicated individual who possesses:
No experience required.

Current Ohio Dental Radiographer license (required).

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Able to connect with patients of all ages and build rapport.

Compassionate and empathetic nature: Genuinely cares about patient well-being.

Detail-oriented and organized: Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

A team player: Works collaboratively with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff.

Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft – mention specific software if applicable, or "experience with dental practice management software").
