Job Description
We are private family practice with one doctor located in downtown Royal Oak looking for a skilled, caring and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. This position is fulltime and open for immediate hire. We are looking for someone who has strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a team oriented environment. We are looking for someone dependable who takes pride in their work and wants a long-term opportunity in a positive environment. We are growing and looking for you to grow with us.
Some responsibilities include:
- Use of Trios scanner
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and documentation
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Make temporary crowns
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
Hours:
Monday - 10 to 7
Tuesday - 9 to 7
Wednesday - Closed
Thursday - 8 to 4
Friday - 7 to 1
One Saturday a month - 8 to 2
We are willing to train the right person. We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
