Job Description
We are looking for bilingual (Spanish/English) dental assistant with a excellent customer service, authorized to work in the United States with at least 1 year of experience .
Responsibilities:
Welcome customers in the dental office.
Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort.
Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed depending of the procedure.
Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked.
Perform routine maintenance on dental equipment and instruments.
Monitor and replenish supplies, such as dental materials, gloves, masks, and office supplies, to ensure the smooth operation of the dental practice.
Work closely with dentists, dental hygienists, and administrative staff.
Familiarity with the terminology used in the dental field to understand and communicate effectively with both the dental team and patients.
Skills:
Proven experience as dental assistant in a general dental office on USA.
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
Understanding of health & safety regulations.
Good computer skills.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Experience taking digital x-rays.
Experience taking panoramic and CBCT.
Experience taking regular impressions.
Experience fabricating crowns and bridge temporary.
Experience taking digital scan impressions.
Experience entering treatment in the patient chart.
Dental Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with and proper use of various dental equipment, such as suction devices, curing lights, sterilizers, vacuum forming machine, digital scanners, etc.
