We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. only candidates who get along well with others, enjoy other people and have a positive disposition should apply. This position requires a blend of clinical skills, knowledge of dental terminology, and a commitment to maintaining a sterile environment. We want our new staff member to be positive minded, kind, eager to learn, upbeat and reliable.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental equipment following infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care instructions
Skills
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health.
Proficiency in dental and medical terminology for effective communication.
Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
Experience with prosthodontic procedures is a plus.
Ability to efficiently use dental software such as Eaglesoft for patient management.
Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in clinical tasks.
Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
We will work with a candidate who meets the personality requirements and is eager to learn.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
