Dental Assistant I or II – General Dentistry
Vaya Dental – Garner Station | Raleigh, NC
Vaya Dental – Garner Station is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who knows how to keep a clinical day moving while still making every patient feel cared for.
We're particularly interested in someone with general dentistry experience who is proactive, organized, clinically confident, and naturally anticipates what the doctor needs next.
What You'll Do
Provide four-handed chairside assisting for general and restorative dentistry
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
Provide retraction and suctioning and anticipate clinical needs
Take quality BWX, FMX, and panoramic radiographs
Accurately document clinical findings
Follow OSHA and CDC sterilization and infection-control protocols
Support instrument processing and autoclave/spore-testing procedures
Track clinical supplies and communicate inventory needs
Maintain efficient room turnover and patient flow
Create a warm, professional experience for every patient
What We're Looking For
General dentistry assisting experience
North Carolina radiology qualifications/certification as required
Strong chairside assisting skills
Excellent sterilization and infection-control habits
Open Dental experience preferred
Endodontic and oral surgery assisting experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Dependable, proactive, and team-oriented
Schedule
Monday–Thursday | 7:45 AM–5:00 PM
Some Fridays | 7:45 AM–1:00 PM
For sedation services at surgical centers or hospitals, facility hours may apply.
