Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist with various chairside procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
Provide excellent patient care and comfort during procedures, establishing trust and strong relationships.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, infection control, and safety protocols.
Take and process digital X-rays, impressions, and other diagnostic materials.
Help with patient education and treatment plan presentation.
Perform coronal polishing, sealant application, and other routine dental tasks.
Manage patient records using Dentrix Ascend and stay organized.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of chairside assisting experience.
Certifications: Current radiography certification and Dental Assistant certification as required by state. Coronal Polishing certification is preferred.
Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a team setting.
Professional Development: Must complete annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training as required by law. CPR certification is preferred.
Technology: Familiarity with digital X-rays, iTero digital scanners, Glidewell mills for same-day crowns, and Biohorizon Implant Systems is a plus.
