Job Description
Dental Assistant, 4 day work week, no weekends: Up to $28 per hour!
Most dental assistant jobs mean the same four procedures in the same room until you retire. This isn't that one. Forty hours. Four days. Fridays off. Tons of variety.
We're a two-doctor practice in Butte with IV sedation, full-arch implants, 3D printing, and cone beam imaging under one roof. The assistant we hire will be in the room for life-changing dental cases most assistants in Montana never get to touch — and we'll teach you all of them.
The Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 7:30 am–5:30 pm
We see patients 8-5, but want our team prepped and allow time for closing so you're not scrambling at either end.
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are yours. No call, no rotating weekends.
The Position:
Chairside assisting for Dr. Gundersen and Dr. Parks — restorative, surgical, ortho, and sedation cases.
Digital impressions and CBCT scans, milling crowns
Taking X-rays, sterilization, tray setup, and room turnover
Walking patients through appointments so they're comfortable and trusting of their great dental care
What we're looking for:
Chairside experience preferred — but if you're sharp, steady, and you like people, we will train the specifics
A clean, calm head when a case runs long or a patient gets nervous
Someone who is “batteries included”, you notice things need attention before being told and you take action
High school diploma or GED
X-ray certification (DANB RHS) is a plus
Work Perks:
