Mitten Family Dental is an exciting full service dental health center located in Ionia, MI. We are professional, agile, team-oriented, and patient centered. Everything from pediatric dentistry to general treatment, including orthodontics, on to specialty sedated care, and implants.

**Overview**
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience in various dental procedures, the ability to explain procedures to patients, a willingness to work as a team, and the interest in learning.

**Duties:**
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Prepare patient rooms for dental work
Take and develop dental x-rays
Manage medical documentation
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
Educate patients
Sterilization of dental instruments
**Experience:**
The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience:
Experience in Pediatrics, Endodontics, Oral-surgery, and General Dentistry
Knowledge of Dentrix software
Proficiency taking X-rays
Familiarity with aseptic techniques in a dental setting
