Dental Assistant
Penguin Pediatric Dentistry – Iowa City, IA
Penguin Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team! We are a privately owned pediatric dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a fun, positive, and welcoming environment.

What You'll Do
Assist the doctor during a variety of pediatric dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
Take dental radiographs
Chart treatment accurately using our electronic dental records
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care
Maintain OSHA and infection control standards
Help create a positive, comfortable experience for every child who walks through our doors
What We're Looking For
Current Iowa Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
Current CPR certification
Friendly, positive attitude with a genuine love for working with children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, organized, and willing to learn
Pediatric dental experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate

Schedule
Approximately 32 hours per week
Monday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Occasional Friday mornings may be required for scheduled sedation appointments.
