Job Description
Vivid Prosthodontics is a solo doctor office that specializes in prosthodontics. You’ll be helping restore and renew patients smiles in a big way! We are looking for someone that wants enjoys helping people and helping people restore their confidence.
An ideal candidate will be self-motivated, positive, and patient centered. As a team, we really try to have fun! We have updated technology and equipment and we are always open to feedback into how we can improve.
While experience is great, all levels are welcome to apply. We are happy to do on the job training for the right candidate. Hours are Tuesday-Thursday 7:50-5, Friday 7:50-2 (or 3 if there are tasks not completed during the week. We finish with patients at 1 pm) and one Monday a month at our satellite office (Please see below).
We work out of a satellite location in Mount Pleasant Iowa. Assistants alternate days at this location. This is a one Monday a month obligation, but open to more hours if you are interested. You have the option to get a ride with the doctor or you can drive yourself. We see patients in Mount Pleasant from 9 am -4 pm.
Uniform allowance, bonus system, 401k and vacation benefits.
Responsibilities include:
Chair side assisting
Sterilization
Setting up and breaking down rooms
Taking x-rays
Treatment notes
Aiding in 3D printing
Making some custom trays as needed
Taking diagnostic physical and digital impressions (Mostly Digital)
Supply ordering
We are a newer practice (about 4 years old). As an employer, I really try to get to know you and hone in on your skills. My goal is that you grow with me and so the job description will grow with you! If you have other skills (Dental Lab experience, office administration, etc) I really encourage you to apply! My hope is to tailor the job to individuals rather than have an individual just fill a role.
