Dental Assistant job

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of relevant experience and possess strong skills in patient care, dental procedures, and infection control. Fluency in Russian is preferred to better serve our diverse patient community. This role involves supporting dentists during procedures, managing patient interactions, and ensuring the highest standards of sterilization and infection prevention. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and committed to providing exceptional dental care.

Duties
Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques
Prepare and organize dental equipment and supplies for patient treatments
Perform dental x-rays following safety protocols and proper techniques
Conduct sterilization procedures in accordance with healthcare infection prevention and control standards
Manage patient records using specialized patient management software
Provide excellent patient care by addressing questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment by adhering to infection prevention management protocols
Understand and utilize dental terminology accurately for effective communication within the team
Support overall clinic operations by ensuring equipment is functioning properly and assisting with inventory management
Skills
Proven experience in a dental clinic setting with at least three years of relevant work history
Proficiency in dental x-ray techniques and sterilization procedures
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and infection prevention standards
Ability to perform dental sterilization procedures effectively and efficiently
Experience with patient management software for scheduling, records, and billing purposes
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on comfort and communication
Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control practices
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment using four-handed dentistry techniques
Fluency in Russian is preferred to facilitate communication with Russian-speaking patients

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
