Overview
We are seeking a dedicated level II Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong desire to contribute to a positive dental experience. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records
Experience
Required Skills:
- Dental assisting experience
- Knowledge of Abeldent or similar dental software
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Experience in orthodontics and pediatrics
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Epic software
- Previous work as a dental receptionist
