Overview
Join our dynamic Pediatric dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.

Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection prevention management and aseptic techniques.

Take and develop dental X-rays, including digital imaging and 3D scans, ensuring accurate positioning and patient safety.

X-Ray certification desired
Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Provide chairside assistance by handing instruments, managing suction devices, and supporting four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency.

Educate patients on oral health care practices, post-treatment instructions, and preventive measures to promote long-term dental health.

Maintain clinical confidentiality policies while handling medical documentation, coding procedures accurately for billing purposes.

Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of dental terminology, dental equipment, and clinical procedures.

Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic; experience with patient management software is highly preferred.

Certification in dental assisting or relevant coursework; additional training in X-ray certification and infection control is advantageous.

Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatrics.

Knowledge of dental sterilization procedures, infection prevention management, and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.

Ability to perform vital signs assessment and assist with medical imaging procedures confidently.

Excellent communication skills to coordinate with patients as a dental receptionist when needed and provide compassionate patient care.
