Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, No weekends
Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Summary
Nona Smiles is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to support our dental team in providing general, preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dental care.
The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during clinical procedures, prepare treatment rooms, maintain sterilization and infection control standards, document patient information, and support the daily clinical workflow.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during restorative, cosmetic, preventive, and general dental procedures
Prepare and organize treatment rooms before and between appointments
Take digital dental X-rays
Maintain sterilization procedures and infection control standards
Accurately chart and update patient records in Eaglesoft
Provide patients with post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
Monitor and restock clinical supplies
Assist with maintaining an efficient clinical schedule and workflow
Help ensure treatment areas and equipment are properly maintained
Provide professional and courteous patient service
Communicate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and other team members
Qualifications
Dental Assistant certification or equivalent clinical experience
Current Florida X-Ray Certification required
Previous dental assisting experience preferred
Eaglesoft experience strongly preferred
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols
Strong communication and organizational skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols
Ability to multitask in a busy dental office
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus
