Job Description
Aspire Dental of Laurel is seeking a dependable, friendly, and motivated Temporary Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent chairside support, assist with clinical procedures, maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, and help deliver an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments before patient appointments
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to OSHA and infection control standards
Take and process dental radiographs
Prepare and maintain dental materials and supplies
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Accurately document treatment information in patient records
Ensure treatment rooms are cleaned and stocked throughout the day
Support front office and clinical team members as needed
Maintain a positive and professional attitude with patients and coworkers
Qualifications
Previous dental assisting experience preferred
Current radiology certification
Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and infection control practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable transportation and flexible availability
Experience with dental software is a plus
