Dental Assistant/ LDA

Capstan Dental is a brand new dental clinic located in Richmond, BC! Expected to open in Summer 2026. We are seeking a friendly and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental team! The receptionist will be the first point of contact to welcome patients, provide exceptional customer service and administrative support.

Duties:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments

- Has completed xray module and can take xrays

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history forms

- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar

- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
Qualifications:

- Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience (CDA/LDA)

- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures

- Proficiency in using dental software systems

- Strong communication skills and Cantonese/Mandarin speaking is an asset.

- Knowledge of dental terminology.
