Dental Assistant Level 1 or 2

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist and providing quality dental care to our patients. If you have experience in dental assisting and possess strong organizational and communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices

- Provide support to the front desk as needed
Requirements:

- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program

- X-ray certification

- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Skills:

- Medical Terminology: Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.

- Dental Assisting: Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures.

- Dentrix: Proficiency in using Dentrix dental practice management software.
