Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant Level II, where your expertise will elevate patient care and streamline clinical operations. Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics, ensuring smooth and efficient patient flow
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict sterilization and safety protocols
Manage patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix and Epic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD technology to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
Provide excellent customer service as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments, confirming patient information, and answering inquiries
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health
Support the administrative team by maintaining accurate documentation of procedures, inventory management, and billing processes
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Level II or similar role with proficiency in dental assisting techniques
Strong knowledge of dental software systems such as Dentrix and Epic for managing patient records and appointments
Familiarity with orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry is highly preferred
Basic understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health care
Experience with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools used for digital impressions or restorations is a plus
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate with team members
Certification in Dental Assisting from an accredited program; additional certifications in orthodontics or pediatrics are advantageous
