Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Certified Dental Assistant to join our team at Georgian Mall Family Dental West. As an integral part of our practice, you will collaborate with our dental professionals to deliver outstanding patient care in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and reassurance throughout their visit.
Capture and process dental radiographs (x-rays).
Maintain and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment areas in accordance with safety protocols.
Offer patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment instructions.
Accurately update and maintain patient records.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program.
- X-ray certification HARP required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing quality patient care.
