Job Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant Level II and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! Duties
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
Manage patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic to ensure accurate documentation
Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact, including dental receptionist duties like scheduling appointments and answering patient inquiries
Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions
Support with inventory management of dental supplies and equipment maintenance
Requirements
Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity in orthodontics and pediatrics preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health procedures
Proficiency with dental software platforms such as Dentrix and Epic for record keeping and appointment scheduling
Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including children and those requiring special care
Certification in dental assisting or equivalent training; additional certifications in orthodontics or pediatric dentistry are advantageous
Experience with CAD technology for digital impressions or imaging is a plus
Knowledge of dental reception duties, including managing patient flow and administrative tasks
