Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, orthodontic, pediatric, and surgical treatments
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring sterilization standards are met
Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) and iTero digital scanning technology for precise imaging
Manage patient records efficiently using dental practice management software such as Abeldent
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
Support front desk operations
Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Level II or similar role with strong knowledge of dental assisting procedures
Familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care and patient communication
Experience supporting orthodontic treatments and working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
Ability to operate CAD technology for digital imaging and treatment planning
Certification in Dental Assisting from an accredited program; additional certifications in radiography preferred
Excellent communication skills to serve as an effective liaison between patients and the dental team
Availability 8 am- 5:30 pm Monday-Thursday, ( alternating Wednesdays until 8pm) One Friday and One Saturday / Month 8 am - 3 pm
