Responsibilities:
Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation
Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behavior
Prepare treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient
Thorough understanding of practice health and safety requirements
Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials, and equipment in accordance with IPAC standards.
Provide chair-side assistance and ensure smooth patient flow.
Take and develop dental radiographs (HARP certified requirement).
iTero and Trios experience a plus (training provided)
Document treatment notes and maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix
Support infection prevention and sterilization processes as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene, pre- and post-treatment care.
Maintain operatory readiness and assist with inventory and supply management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
Scan patients for Orthodontic treatment (itero) take photos and xrays.
About You:
MUST be a Level I / Level II Certified Dental Assistant
Experience with Dentrix Practice Management Software preferred but not essential

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant Level II and Floater to join our dynamic dental team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting various dental specialties including orthodontics and pediatrics.
This role will include Assisting the Dentists, scanning The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, familiarity with Dentrix dental software, and a compassionate approach to patient care. This position is full-time and includes paid training, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including orthodontics and pediatric dentistry
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all dental equipment is functioning properly
Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
Manage patient records using Epic and Dentrix software systems
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort
Support front desk operations as needed, including check-in/check-out and scheduling appointments
Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile work environment in compliance with health regulations
Assist with administrative tasks such as medical terminology documentation and insurance processing
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant Level II or similar role is preferred
Knowledge of dental assisting procedures, sterilization techniques, and patient management
Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Epic and Dentrix is highly desirable
Experience working with orthodontics, pediatrics, or in a medical setting is a plus
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental practice
Certification in dental assisting or related field is required; additional training in CAD systems is advantageous
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
