Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dental Assistant Level II to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on clinical experience and be confident assisting with advanced dental procedures, including sedation surgery and implant dentistry. Experience with iTero digital scanning technology is required.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures, including restorative, surgical, implant, and sedation cases
Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories according to infection control standards
Perform and manage iTero digital scans for restorative and orthodontic procedures
Support implant surgeries and post-operative patient care
Monitor and assist patients during sedation procedures following clinical protocols
Take and process dental radiographs
Maintain accurate patient records and charting
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience throughout appointments
Qualifications
Certified Dental Assistant Level II
Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience in a clinical setting
Mandatory experience with:
iTero digital scanning
Sedation dentistry/surgery
Dental implant procedures
Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection prevention protocols
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
CPR certification preferred/current
Experience with dental software systems is an asset
