Dental Assistant Level II

Job Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant Level II, where your expertise will directly contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team. This role involves assisting with a variety of dental procedures, managing patient flow, and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient. This role would also include some administrative activities such as accounts receivable, preparation of treatment/payment plans, insurance estimates. We are a busy family practice that treats patients of all ages.

Duties
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
Assist dentist during procedures such as restorative, surgical and endodontic procedures
Manage patient records using dental practice management software (Dentrix) for accuracy and confidentiality
Take digital xrays and intra oral scans
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health
Coordinate appointment scheduling, instrument sterilization, treatment plan creation, insurance estimates
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Level II or similar role with knowledge of dental assisting best practices
Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix
Familiarity with invisalign procedures, pediatric dentistry, and medical terminology related to oral health
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including children in pediatric dentistry settings
Certification in Dental Assisting from an accredited program; HARP certification
Experience working as a dental receptionist or in front office support is advantageous

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
