Job Description
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting, with proficiency in dental software and a comprehensive understanding of dental procedures, including periodontics and prosthodontics. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where patient care and team collaboration are prioritized. The Dental Assistant will support the dental team by providing exceptional chairside assistance, managing patient flow, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including crown and bridge, periodontics, Invisalign, extraction and restorative treatments
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
Manage patient records using dental software ClearDent
Complete scans using our Meddit scanner
Support the front desk team by handling administrative tasks related to patient scheduling and check-in as needed
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, treatments, and medical histories using medical terminology
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
Collaborate with the dental team to improve workflow efficiency and patient experience
Qualifications
Certified Dental Assistant with relevant licensure or certification preferred
Proficiency in dental software ClearDent is a bonus
Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to providing excellent patient care and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
