Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant Level II to join our orthodontic practice. Experience in orthodontics preferred but not required. Monday to Thursday. No evenings or weekends.
Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Assist the orthodontist during a variety of procedures
Take orthodontic records including panoramic and cepholametric xrrays, and scans
Manage patient records accurately using Cloud9
Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns during visits
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment in compliance with health regulations
Impression taking and lab work
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Level II or similar role in a fast-paced dental practice
Knowledge of orthodontics and medical terminology is highly desirable
Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques including radiography and sterilization procedures
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
Ability to work collaboratively within a team of dental professionals
Certification or licensure in dental assisting is required or preferred depending on state regulations
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
