Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant Level II to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of dental procedures and patient care. This role involves supporting various treatments, managing patient interactions, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment committed to delivering exceptional dental care.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures, including surgical.
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring sterilization protocols are followed
Take dental radigraphs when required.
Manage patient records accurately using Cloud based software system
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient check-in/check-out processes
Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to infection control standards
Experience
Proven experience in dental assisting with a solid understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures
Prior exposure to general dentistry is preferred
Familiarity with dental software platforms and treatment codes
Experience working in fast-paced environments requiring multitasking and excellent organizational skills
Certification in dental assisting is required
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers
Requirements
Level II Dental Assistant Certification
CPR certification
Some experience in a dental office preferred
Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Punctual, professional, and reliable
