Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant Level II to join our dynamic dental team. This role is vital in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the clinical operations of our practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience with various dental software systems. Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
Manage patient records using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix
Take and develop dental radiographs (CAD experience preferred)
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Handle administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and medical terminology standards
Support orthodontic procedures by preparing appliances and assisting with adjustments
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Level II or similar role in a clinical setting
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Epic, Dentrix, and CAD applications
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Experience in handling medical terminology related to dental care
Prior work supporting dental assisting activities with a focus on patient comfort and safety
Certification or training in dental assisting is required; additional experience with orthodontic or pediatric dentistry is a plus
This position requires a professional who is detail-oriented, compassionate, and capable of multitasking effectively in a busy dental practice. Candidates should be committed to maintaining high standards of patient care while supporting the overall efficiency of the clinic.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
