Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensure infection control protocols are followed, and support the delivery of high-quality dental care to all ages.
Lakewood Hills Dental is a private practice serving the local communities in all aspects of dentistry. You will play a crucial role in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring the best patient care.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records by documenting information accurately in Dentrix dental records.
- Provide chair-side assistance to dentists during dental procedures.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Manage inventory and supplies within the dental office.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow.
Experience:
- Proven experience working with dental procedures.
- Proficiency in dental terminology and documentation.
- Familiarity with dentistry practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of general dentistry procedures and systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
