Location: 2690 Pacific Ave, Suite 250, Long Beach, CA 90806
Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and one Saturday per month
Job Type: Part-Time

Our practice utilizes advanced dental technology, including digital radiography, CBCT imaging, CAD/CAM dentistry, intraoral scanning, laser dentistry, and 3D printing.
We are looking for a reliable, motivated, friendly, and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, compassionate, and passionate about delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Assist dentists during general, restorative, surgical, and preventive dental procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for scheduled procedures.
Take digital dental radiographs in accordance with California regulations.
Perform four-handed dentistry and maintain efficient clinical workflows.
Follow infection control, sterilization, and OSHA protocols.
Obtain and update patient medical and dental histories.
Educate patients regarding oral hygiene and postoperative instructions.
Assist with intraoral scanning, digital impressions, and other digital dental workflows.
Maintain dental equipment, supplies, and operatory organization.
Accurately document clinical information in electronic dental records.
Work collaboratively with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
Required:
Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
Valid California Dental Radiation Safety Certificate for applicants performing dental radiography.
Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and infection control.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Dependability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and one Saturday per month.
Highly Preferred:
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
Coronal polishing certification.
Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
Experience with Dentrix or other dental practice management software.
Experience with digital dentistry, CAD/CAM, intraoral scanning, and 3D printing.
Experience assisting with oral surgery, endodontics, and restorative procedures.
