Dental Assistant

We are a small but full service dental clinic serving the Longview and surrounding areas.

Family practice not Corporation; a small team doing our very best day in and day out to deliver a superior dental experience to our patients.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday (we finish at 3 pm on Thursdays).

Most assistants will work 32 - 33 hours per week but there is after hours work to be done if you desire to work more.

We are looking a for competent, hardworking and fun assistant that works well with others.

Pay: DOE
Benefits: There is holiday pay, WA sick pay, a medical allowance per month, paid vacation, and PTO.

Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, anticipating needs and providing support.

- Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and procedures to effectively communicate with the dental team.

- Operate 3D scanner equipment to capture accurate dental impressions.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following aseptic techniques for infection control.

- Assist with various dental procedures including prosthodontics and endodontics.

- Continuously update and expand knowledge of dental assisting techniques and best practices.

Qualifications

- Chairside assisting

- Dental terminology

- 3D scanner operation

- General dentistry knowledge

- Prosthodontics and Endodontics experience

- Aseptic technique proficiency

- Understanding of dental terminology and anatomy

- Familiarity with EMR systems and Eaglesoft

- HIPAA / OSHA compliance knowledge

- Must take direction well

- Ability to perform Four handed dentistry

- Competence in taking vital signs and medical imaging

- Exposure to X-Ray procedures

- Relevant skills in Epic, medical documentation, records, coding, and Pediatrics
