Multidisciplinary, privately owned practice with long term employees, with a low stress/drama environment seeking a reliable individual . Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your skills will directly contribute to providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering comprehensive dental services. In this role, you will be the backbone of the clinical team, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting with a variety of dental procedures. Your energetic and detail-oriented approach will help create a positive experience for every patient while advancing your career in dentistry.
Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental materials, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments.
Take dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology such as 3D scanners and medical imaging equipment.
Requirements
Proven experience working in a dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
Strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures.
Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while adhering to safety standards
Knowledge of medical coding and medical terminology relevant to dental care is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including children, and collaborate with the clinical team.
