Job Description
About Us:
We are a high quality FFS, General Dentistry Office in upscale Miami Shores.
We are looking for an experienced Expanded Duty Dental Assistant to join our team full-time, long term.
Job Details:
Pay commensurate with skills
Small group with positive, cooperative attitude-Always!
Our patients are appreciative. 36 years in this location, they are our long term neighbors and friends.
Spanish is not required. You must have a very professional appearance and demeanor.
Responsibilities:
Friendly communication with patients
Desire long term employment, building close bonds with your fellow staff and patients.
Proficient in making temporary crowns, cord packing, shade matching, dental photography, pediatric prophylaxis, sealant placement, etc...
Assist with advanced procedures in endodontics, oral surgery (exodontia and implant placement)
Maintain a flow of digital patient information with front and back office.
Discuss complex treatment plans and be able to set up sequences of treatment with the patient.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience as FT Expanded Duty Dental Assistant in a high end office involving Complex Dental procedures is preferred as opposed to DMO type.
Have very good instincts with developing rapport and a comfort level with the patients, while maintaining a timely schedule.
Efficiency and organization in completing tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour

Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
