Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic dental assistant to join our team! This position would be for our Lowell, MA location.
Demonstrate strong communication and clinical skills in order to best assist the doctors with procedures.
Bringing patients from check-in to the operating rooms as well as breaking down and setting up rooms prior to treatment.
Preparing patients for procedures by taking x-rays and setting up the dental operatory with instruments and materials for each procedure.
Giving doctors assistance during procedures when needed under direct supervision complete child prophylaxis, fluoride application, taking dental x-rays. Supporting doctors in recording procedural codes in the information system. Demonstrating superior knowledge of all equipment, instruments, and supplies. Performing regular inventory checks to ensure all supplies and material are being restocked.
Participation & Professionalism: Be kind and courteous to patients, staff, doctors, and others, be an active participant in staff meetings Perform tasks as assigned by the dentist or manager and take initiative to identify and execute ways to continually improve individual and practice performance.
X-ray certification is not mandatory but strongly recommended, on site training is available for a motivated candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
