Seeking an experience RDA or DA to join our 7 Day Dental Team, looking for professionals with an upbeat, can-do attitude.
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry treatments
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments according to infection prevention management protocols and aseptic techniques
Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans, ensuring accurate medical imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning
Manage patient records using EMR systems such as Dentrix or Open Dental, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies
Support dental reception duties by scheduling appointments, verifying patient information, and managing medical documentation and records
Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort
Monitor vital signs of patients when necessary and assist with pediatric dentistry procedures in a caring, professional manner
Qualifications
Proven experience in dental assisting within a busy dental clinic environment, with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy
Proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix, Open Dental
Strong understanding of infection prevention management, dental sterilization procedures, and healthcare infection control expertise
Ability to operate dental x-ray equipment safely and effectively; experience with oral surgery or endodontics is desirable
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members including dental receptionists and clinical staff
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and the ability to work compassionately with children is preferred
Certification in dental assisting or equivalent training; familiarity with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies is essential
