Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented surgical dental assistant to join our growing periodontal practice. The ideal candidate is compassionate, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
Assist periodontist during surgical and non-surgical procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
Make dental radiographs
Provide patient education before and after surgery
Maintain accurate patient records and charts
Monitor patients during procedures and recovery
Follow strict infection control protocols
Prepare and review comprehensive treatment plans
Qualifications
Registered Dental Assistant with radiography endorsement
Surgical experience preferred
Current CPR certification
Strong chairside and patient communication skills
Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of surgical instruments, aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile field
