Job Summary
Looking for Dental Assistant, who wants to be a team player where your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a welcoming environment for patients seeking oral healthcare. Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric treatments, by preparing treatment rooms and handling necessary instruments, including sterilizing instruments, disinfecting treatment areas. Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments, updating medical and dental records. Take and develop dental X-rays while maintaining strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to safeguard patient health. Helping with maintaining inventory/ordering supplies, answering the phone, and helping out at the front desk.
Experience
Previous experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred, especially with general dentistry . Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry, aseptic technique, and chairside assisting is essential for success in this role. Knowledge of dental terminology, enhances your ability to accurately document procedures and communicate effectively within the team. Understanding infection control practices, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, and the operation of dental X-ray equipment are critical skills for this position.
