Job Summary:
The Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Dentist in providing quality dental care in a high volume dental practice environment
Job Responsibilities:
Seats and prepares patients for treatment
Maintains material, instruments and supplies needed for scheduled treatment procedure
Dispenses supplies and materials and stocks each operatory regularly
Takes digital radiographs, developing and places them in mounting position
Dismisses patient to receptionist and returns to disinfect operatory
Maintains an inventory of supplies
Monitors laboratory cases by logging cases leaving and returning to the practice
Monitors dentist schedule to ensure patients arrivals and/or updates to daily schedule
General office maintenance, i.e., cleaning lab areas, keeping floor free from a debris
Miscellaneous office duties as assigned by manager including, but not limited to: answering phones, calling patients and filing
Pours stone and plaster models and assists dentist with laboratory work as needed
Job Qualifications:
High School diploma required/college degree preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $26.50 per hour
