Dental Assistant

Atwill Conroy Dental Associates is seeking a pleasant and professional Dental Assistant for Assisted Hygiene in both our North Attleboro, MA location and Smithfield, RI locations.

We are a privately owned practice with long-term staff.

Responsibilities include:
· Greet and prepare patients for treatment scheduled
· Chairside assisting for a variety of dental procedures
· Sterilization of instruments/ maintains safe and clean work environment
· Review patient chart prior to patient arrival and anticipate the need for each patient
· Review schedule to help maintain patient flow throughout the day
· Maintain protocol by adhering to OSHA, CDC and HIPPA compliance
· Taking dental x -rays
· Maintain dental supplies and inventories
· Other duties may be assigned
Must Have Requirements include:
· High school diploma/GED
· Radiology certification
· 1-year Ascend software experience
· 1-5 years of assisting experience preferred; will consider new graduates
· Registered Dental Assistant in Massachusetts
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new programs as needed
